The London Mastaba by the artist Christo amongst trees in Hyde Park

Towering above the Hyde Park foliage, this massive multi-coloured monument is The London Mastaba. It is a temporary sculpture consisting of over 7500 barrels floating upon the Serpentine by artist Christo. From wrapping entire buildings to erecting a 24 mile long curtain Christo’s (and his late wife Jeanne-Claude’s) work is varied, impressive and polarising. If you’re in London go see for yourself.
