Supporting women in the design industry

63% of graphic design students are women yet only 17% are Creative Directors. Kerning The Gap want to change this statistic. Established in 2015, its aim is to get more women into leadership roles within the design industry. I’m happy to say that I’m taking part in their mentoring scheme this year.

Now running in several UK regions, the fully-supported annual programme provides the opportunity to be paired with a mentor or mentee, with guidance and support from mentoring experts (and our lovely clients), The Conversation Space, throughout the 12 months. Find out more info about the scheme here. We kicked off last night and it’s a fantasic bunch of people. I’m really looking forward to the coming conversations.
