What personal data we collect and why
Your personal data is only collected when you either subscribe to the Lark email newsletter or contact the studio via the website. This data is then used to communicate with you about projects, events, services and studio information. Other information is collected automatically when you visit the website (see ‘Cookies’ and ‘Analytics’.)
Cookies
Cookies are small files which are stored on your computer when you visit websites. They are used to help websites work more effectively. This website uses cookies to gather information using Google Analytics (see ‘Analytics’) and may show footage hosted on third-party sites such as Vimeo or YouTube. Cookies are also used to display fonts correctly (see ‘Google Web Fonts’.)

Analytics
The website uses Google Analytics to give a better idea of how visitors use the site. This includes but is not limited to; the number of times you have visited, the duration of your visit as well as the number of pages you might visit. Google Web Fonts
For the uniform representation of fonts, this page uses web fonts provided by Google. When you open a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your computer to display texts and fonts correctly.
For this purpose your browser has to establish a direct connection to Google servers. Google then becomes aware that our web page was accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web fonts is done in the interest of a uniform and attractive presentation of our plugin. This constitutes a justified interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO.
If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font is used by your computer.

Who we share your data with
Your data may be shared with third-party suppliers and collaborators when working on projects. You will be notified beforehand if this is the case. Your data will never be sold for marketing or advertising purposes.
If you sign up for our email newsletter your data (such as name and email address) will be shared and stored with a third-party provider, Mailchimp whose servers are in the United States. View the Mailchimp Privacy Policy for more information on how this data is used and secured.
If you’re not satisfied with the Mailchimp Privacy Policy or unhappy with our use of an outside supplier for email marketing you can unsubscribe using the link in every email newsletter or contact the studio and ask to be removed.
How long we retain your data
The personal data you provide will be retained indefinitely unless a request is made for it to be removed from our database.
What rights you have over your data
You can request to receive an exported file of all of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you and refrain from contacting you in the future. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
How we protect your information
Any information provided over the internet is not secure and may be routed through other countries outside the UK. However we endeavour to make sure that any data you provide is treated respectfully and securely.
