CAMO

Thandiwe Muriu’s striking CAMO project is a collection of portraits celebrating her African heritage. She uses textiles, everyday objects and traditional hairstyles to reinterpret contemporary African portraiture.

Ant art

Artist Evelyn Bracklow meticulously hand-paints vintage ceramics and ornaments with tiny black ants. She’s made hundreds of the works and has a few for sale on her Etsy shop.

Flower power

Cole Haan’s new shoes are made from dandelions. Naturally derived or recycled content makes up 25% of these shoes.

 

Midnight Moment

Throughout February at 3 minutes to midnight Krista Kim’s visual artwork Continuum took over the digital billboards in New York’s Times Square, creating a moment of calm in the city.
